Ceo Action For Diversity & Inclusion

Robert Anderson, the CEO and founder of RBA Builders, has signed a CEO Pledge for DE&I, which is a commitment to make good on the inherent promise that all people should be able to bring their best selves to work and unleash their full potential. In 2022, Robert attended a meeting with the Founder of PwC’s Pledge for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion where upon listening to the message and purpose of the pledge, he was so deeply moved that he knew he needed to sign. “It made me realize that even though RBA has always been and will always be inclusive, we needed that platform,” Robert says, “to have a place for people to feel safe to be themselves, and for there to be compassion and understanding, that is my biggest hope.”

Women's initiative

In early 2023, RBA Builders introduced the RBA Women’s Initiative, aimed at fostering an empowering environment where women unite to amplify their voices and advocate for the progress of women within the construction field. Notably, while the industry’s average female representation stands at 10%, RBA’s workforce comprises an impressive 25% women. Through mentoring, networking, and open dialogue, the initiative strives to enhance this figure. By facilitating the exchange of insights and experiences, the RBA Women’s Initiative assists individuals in navigating the challenges and triumphs of being a Woman in Construction. Moreover, our initiative actively encourages participation in NAWIC (National Association of Women In Construction) through engagement in local chapter gatherings and volunteer opportunities.
